About the project

Conventus Horowitz was founded as a volunteer project. We want to bring the history of the town closer to people, including the stories of the Horowitz family, who took their name from Hořovice.

The project is dedicated both to organizing cultural events, tours, and lectures, as well as to documenting and publishing documents, stories, and other fragments of Hořovice's history. Our partner is the Evangelical Church in Dobříš and Hořovice. We cooperate with the Horowitz Association.
